After placing an order, check your email inbox for an order confirmation.
Look for an email from the store or seller (e.g., Amazon, Walmart, Etsy).
This email typically contains:
Order number
Estimated delivery date
A link to track your order
🔎 Tip: Check your spam or junk folder if you don’t see the email in your inbox.
In the confirmation email, click the tracking link (often labeled “Track Order” or “View Order”).
This will take you directly to a tracking page on the retailer’s website.
Some websites require you to log into your account to see your order status.
Enter your email and password used when placing the order.
Once logged in, navigate to:
“My Orders”
“Order History”
“Purchase History”
Find the specific order you want to track.
Click on the order to expand tracking details.
You’ll see:
Carrier (e.g., USPS, FedEx, UPS)
Tracking number
Shipping status (e.g., “Shipped,” “In Transit,” “Out for Delivery”)
Estimated delivery date
A link to the carrier’s site for real-time updates
If the tracking number is provided:
Copy the tracking number.
Visit the carrier’s website (e.g., ups.com, usps.com, fedex.com).
Paste the tracking number in their tracking search bar.
View live shipping updates.
If your package is:
Marked as delivered but you didn’t receive it
Stuck in one place for too long
Showing an error or missing
Contact the seller or store’s customer support for assistance.
